This service can be provided under an agency scheme whan the operator Tricolor (National Satellite Company NJSC) will act as the copyright holder and operator of the OTT television service. This opportunity, when the ISP (internet service provider) acts as an agent, and not a sublicensor, will allow the Tricolor operator to provide services to the ISP’s subscribers as their own, within the framework of the current Tricolor agreements with copyright holders.
At the same time, the ISP concludes an agency agreement, according to which he will be able to act as an agent for Tricolor and offer its clients interactive television services under the Tricolor brand. Сonnect, billing, and deliver the service to own subscribers. Information about the operator and mutual cooperation will be posted on the Tricolor website. There will be an opportunity to use co-branded electronic and printed materials. The connected subscribers will be served by the Tricolor’s federal call center.

All operations with content and keys will be performed by the DREAM cloud platform, which will be located in the GS Labs data center (DC), supported and maintained by GS Labs engineers. Content directly from the Tricolor transcoders will be encrypted by a scrambler in the Tricolor DC, and encrypted will be delivered to the streamer cluster located in the data center of the ISP.
This interaction scheme will provide ultra-low latency in the delivery of content from streamers to ISP’s subscribers. In addition, it will maximize both the quality and quantity of the content, and the variety of available subscriber devices.
