PJSC Rostelecom checked GS Labs solutions for compliance with localization criteria

The GS Labs Research and Development Center (Tsifra LLC, part of the GS Group holding) has been added to the register of companies that meet the localization criteria of PJSC Rostelecom. The auditors reviewed the peer review of CAS DRECRYPT, DRM DREPLUS and DREGUIDE products in support of measures to implement import substitution processes.

Localization criteria establish requirements for companies participating in the procurement activities of PJSC Rostelecom. The assessment on a 100-point scale is made based on the results of the field work of the collegial commission at the enterprise. Based on the results of the audit, the GS Labs center scored 93.5 points out of 100 possible and was included in the register of companies that meet the localization criteria.

Now, when determining the winner of Rostelecom’s tenders, GS Labs software, namely the CAS DRECRYPT conditional access system, DRM DREPLUS digital rights management system and DREGUIDE electronic TV guide, will be able to receive additional points according to the Localization criterion.

GS Labs is a Russian software developer. The company’s products have a registrations and certificates, they are included in the Unified Register of the Russian software of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications. The some of technologies used in them are unique and have patents. An audit for compliance with the localization criteria of PJSC Rostelecom is another opportunity for us to declare ourselves, participate in the Company’s tender purchases and receive additional points when determining the winner. We are confident that our solutions are able to compete with the products of foreign manufacturers both in terms of technical characteristics and consumer.

Currently, preparations are underway for pilot testing of the above products in the operator’s Ural Macroregional Branch.
